August 2014 – 60 miles/week
This month the goal is distance. Each week I will ride at least 60 miles. This is probably going to be the way it will go for the first couple months – all distance goals. I simply am not in good enough shape to sprint seriously. Rest assured, I still attempt to sprint, just not making goals there quite yet.
Week 1 – August 4 – August 10 – 73.8 miles (5 rides) – complete!
Week 2 – August 11 – August 17 – 72.3 miles (3 rides) – complete!
Week 3 – August 18 – August 24 – 63.8 miles (3 rides) – complete!
Week 4 – August 25 – August 31 – 76.9 miles (4 rides) – complete!
