One nice perk to riding my bike so much is the weight loss. It makes riding easier, and allows me to see the effects it’s having on my body.

I’ve got some chunk to lose, but getting under 200 lbs was a huge milestone. Mostly because I haven’t been under 200 lbs since 2005, but also because every time since then that I’ve tried to lose weight, I always got stuck around 205 lbs. It was frustrating to say the least. But, I’ve gotten over that speed bump.
